Community Unites to Support Annual Bhandara at Manimahesh

Generous Contributions for the Annual Bhandara
In a remarkable display of community spirit, the Khaira branch of Shivshakti Mahasangh in Barnala has raised ₹1.71 lakh for the upcoming 22nd Annual Bhandara, scheduled to take place at Manimahesh (Dhancho) from August 9 to August 31, culminating on Radha Ashtami.
The initial funds, collected through the kindness of local residents, were presented by Ashok Sood, the President of the Trade Association Khaira, alongside Sarwan Mehra and other members, to Rakesh Chandel, a representative from the Bhouta branch. This donation marks the commencement of preparations for the highly anticipated spiritual event, which provides free meals (langar) to thousands of pilgrims during the revered Manimahesh Kailash Yatra.
The ceremony was attended by numerous notable individuals, including Ashok Sood, Sarwan Mehra, Rakesh Chandel, and many others, showcasing the collective effort of the community to maintain traditions and support pilgrims.
The forthcoming Bhandara is expected to attract devotees from various regions, highlighting the spiritual importance of the Manimahesh pilgrimage and the dedication of local volunteers.
Such community-driven initiatives reflect the enduring spirit of altruism and shared faith, ensuring that this sacred tradition continues to flourish year after year.
