Tree Plantation Initiative at Memorial

Today, the Wazir Ram Singh Pathania Memorial Committee hosted a tree planting event at the memorial site, successfully planting over 15 saplings.


The initiative was spearheaded by Committee President Vir Singh Thakur, with the support of Secretary Anish Thakur and Treasurer Vivek Kapoor. Members from the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, including District Sangh Chalak Ashok Ji, along with Ashish Ji, Sudhir Ji, Bharatendu Ji, and numerous volunteers, actively participated in the event.


Several notable figures were present, such as Niti Mahajan, Chairperson of the Nurpur Municipal Council; Councillors Seema Devi and Rajni Mahajan; former Municipal Council Chairman Ashok Sharma Shibu Ji; former Councillor Vinay Ghai Ji; Anil Yari Ji; Sandeep Pathania Ji, Pradhan of Kopra Panchayat; social worker Dr. B.M. Gupta Ji; and Mridul Mahajan Ji.


At the end of the event, each participant received a sapling as a token of appreciation.


The keynote speaker, Dr. Vipin Guleria, highlighted various environmental challenges, stressing the need to minimize the use of single-use plastic to safeguard our natural surroundings.
