As part of the 60-day initiative titled “Chitta Mukt Nurpur, Nasha Mukt Nurpur”, organized by the Idea of Bharat Foundation, a public outreach event took place in Sadwan Panchayat. This marked the 17th phase of the campaign, where volunteers engaged with residents in their homes to educate them about the dangers of drug abuse. They also interacted with local shopkeepers and community members in the marketplace, advocating for a united effort to foster a drug-free environment.
The campaign extended its reach to local gyms, motivating young individuals to embrace fitness, sports, and disciplined lifestyles as a means to avoid addiction and pursue a healthier future.
Notable attendees included Gram Panchayat Pradhan Sudesh Kumar Vikki, former Pradhan Tony Ji, former BDC member Rakesh Sharma Kuki, along with Ravindra Samkadia, Amit Kumar, and other local figures.
Rahul Sharma, the President of the Idea of Bharat Foundation, highlighted the necessity of community involvement in the battle against drug abuse. He stated that engaging directly with families, businesses, and fitness centers is crucial in motivating the youth to lead healthier lives and reject substance abuse.
Sharma further noted that the campaign aims not only to raise awareness but also to cultivate a supportive social atmosphere united against drugs.
The message is clear — Healthy Youth, Strong Society. Chitta Mukt Nurpur, Nasha Mukt Nurpur!
