Given the stress and effects of prolonged fasting, he will be under continuous medical supervision from a multidisciplinary team of specialists. A statement released by the hospital on Saturday night confirmed that Wangchuk is conscious and his hemodynamic status is stable, with pulse, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation within normal limits. Need for Rehydration Therapy

According to Safdarjung Hospital, Wangchuk is exhibiting signs of dehydration due to his extended hunger strike, making fluid and electrolyte therapy medically essential.
