Clash Between Two Groups in Muzaffarnagar Leaves Five Injured
Violence Erupts in Mirapur Area
Muzaffarnagar (Uttar Pradesh), July 21 – A violent altercation occurred in the village of Sambhalheda within the Mirapur police jurisdiction, resulting in injuries to five individuals from the same community. This information was confirmed by local police on Tuesday.
According to Police Circle Officer (CO) Rishika Singh, those injured, including Shahzad and Humayun, were promptly admitted to a hospital following the incident on Monday evening.
Upon receiving reports of the clash, law enforcement quickly arrived at the scene to restore order. The CO stated that a case has been registered, and an investigation is currently underway. Several individuals have also been detained for questioning.
As per police reports, a dispute arose between Humayun and Irshad over allegedly offensive remarks, which escalated into violence, leading both groups to throw stones at each other from rooftops. Singh mentioned that security measures have been heightened in the village, with additional police forces deployed as a precaution.
