The administration of Bharmaur, operating under the Himachal Pradesh government alongside the Shri Manimahesh Trust, has provided an important update regarding the newly implemented 'cleanliness fee' at the Chaurasi Temple complex.

Officials clarified that there has been some misunderstanding among the public, with many believing that prior authorization is now required for conducting religious events. The administration firmly stated that this is not the case. Devotees and local community members are still permitted to carry out traditional religious practices—such as dhams, bhandaras, and other ceremonies—without needing prior consent.

The announcement highlighted that the 'cleanliness fee' is specifically aimed at enhancing sanitation measures. The funds raised will be allocated for the routine cleaning of the temple grounds, proper disposal of waste generated from bhandaras, and ensuring overall cleanliness in the sacred area.

Authorities encouraged devotees to perceive the fee as a collaborative effort to maintain the sanctity and cleanliness of this holy site. They emphasized that only through collective participation can the dignity and purity of this esteemed shrine be preserved.
