CJP Leaders Interrogated by Delhi Police

New Delhi: Leaders of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka, reported to the Delhi Police Crime Branch on Thursday as part of an ongoing investigation, according to police sources.

The duo arrived at the Crime Branch office located in Rajouri Garden around 11 AM, where they are currently being questioned by a team of officers.

Their appearance is linked to two FIRs filed against them for allegedly breaching the designated protest area at Jantar Mantar on October 13.

These FIRs, initially lodged at the Connaught Place and Parliament Street police stations, have since been handed over to the Crime Branch for further investigation. Although both leaders were previously summoned to participate in the inquiry, they had requested additional time and did not attend.

The allegations pertain to the supposed infringement of restrictions at Jantar Mantar, where CJP members conducted a protest and displayed the national flag.
