New Delhi, Jun 23: The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has initiated a "diaper donation drive" as part of its ongoing efforts to demand the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, in light of the alleged NEET-UG paper leak.

The party's sit-in protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi, which has been ongoing for four days as of June 23, was highlighted in a recent social media announcement.

Supporters are encouraged to bring diapers to the protest site, inscribe their demands for Pradhan's resignation on them, and join the campaign titled “Diaper A Day Keeps Leaks Away,” planned for Tuesday evening.

"Bring a diaper, write your demand for his resignation on it, and we'll ensure it reaches the education minister," stated the CJP.

In related news, party founder Abhijeet Dipke accused the police of attempting to limit the protest area.

On Monday night, Dipke claimed that Delhi Police tried to move barricades to "constrict the protest site into a smaller area." No immediate comment was available from the police regarding these allegations.

The CJP has been vocal about holding accountable those responsible for the alleged paper leaks and examination irregularities, including the NEET controversy, insisting that their protest will persist until Pradhan resigns.

Dipke noted that the protest remained well-attended despite it being a weekday, asserting that the demonstration would continue throughout the night.

Candles were lit at the venue in remembrance of students who reportedly took their own lives following the paper leak scandal.

While addressing the crowd, Dipke criticized the authorities for their inadequate response to students affected by examination issues, stating that they were "punishing students" while failing to take action against those implicated in the leaks.

The protest has attracted students, aspirants, and members of various Left student organizations, including the Students' Federation of India, All India Students' Association, and All India Students' Federation (AISF).

Additionally, the AISF has established a free library at the protest site as part of its initiative titled "Fight for Education with Education."
