CJP Founder Criticizes Government's Treatment of Student Protesters

Abhijit Dipke, the founder of the Cockroach People's Party (CJP), expressed his discontent on Wednesday regarding the government's treatment of student protesters. He warned that if the central government continues its actions despite previous assurances, a nationwide movement could be reignited. Speaking to media outside Delhi Airport, Dipke accused authorities of using excessive force against students protesting the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak.

 

Dipke emphasized that the government should not act in such a manner, as these students were merely fighting for their future and rights. He noted that they did not take pleasure in protesting. On July 20, they faced police brutality. He stated that if the government remains greedy and continues to harass students after such violence, they will take to the streets once again, and that will happen soon. He questioned the use of pellet guns against students, likening it to treating them as terrorists, and called for shame on Amit Shah and Narendra Modi.

 

When asked if CJP plans to initiate further protests, Dipke confirmed that they would have to do so if the government does not change its stance. He dismissed comments made by BJP MP Kangana Ranaut regarding 'Generation Z', questioning who takes her seriously.

 

Dipke's remarks followed a warning from CJP's chief spokesperson, Sourav Das, who stated that if the government fails to provide written assurances regarding the withdrawal of FIRs against student protesters, a nationwide protest would be organized.
