CJP Founder Accuses RSS of Attack Amid NEET-UG Protest
CJP Founder Claims RSS Involvement in Attack
Abhijit Deepke, the founder of the Cockroach People's Party (CJP), alleged on Tuesday that individuals associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) were behind the attack on him in Jaipur on Monday. Speaking to reporters at Nagpur Airport, he asserted that this assault was a deliberate attempt to divert attention from critical issues like the NEET-UG paper leak and to suppress the voices of students. Deepke arrived in Nagpur on Tuesday morning, where the CJP is organizing a significant protest at 'Samvidhan Chowk' demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
Earlier, during a protest in Jaipur, two individuals reportedly assaulted Deepke.
In connection with this incident, two young men have been taken into custody. When asked whom he holds responsible for the attack, Deepke stated, 'There were some people from the RSS present, and this is not a new occurrence.' He claimed that such incidents happen whenever someone speaks against the government or its ideology.
When questioned about allegations of his connections with the RSS and a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Deepke responded, 'Is that why they attacked me yesterday?' He reiterated that the attack was an effort to distract from real issues and silence student voices.
Deepke Vows to Continue Protests
Deepke emphasized, 'We will not be diverted from our issues. Attack us as much as you want. We will continue our protests peacefully and democratically, focusing on the injustices faced by over one crore students. The responsibility lies with Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.'
He added, 'Such attacks will continue, but I will not be intimidated. We follow the paths of Mahatma Gandhi and Ambedkar. This is our Satyagraha, and we will proceed peacefully.'
Deepke urged the residents, students, and youth of Nagpur to join the peaceful demonstration at Samvidhan Chowk at 4 PM on Tuesday. The CJP is demanding the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan over the NEET-UG question paper leak issue. Authorities have implemented extensive security measures in Nagpur in anticipation of the protest, estimating that over 2,000 youths will participate. An official reported that security has been heightened at key locations in the city due to the expected crowd.
