Shahpur / Gaggal: In an effort to enhance healthcare accessibility in rural areas, City Care Hospital in Gaggal, operated by Om Medicenter Private Limited, hosted a free medical check-up and medicine distribution event at the Panchayat office in Manjhgram, close to Shahpur.

This community initiative attracted a significant turnout, with over 100 villagers from Manjhgram and nearby areas participating. Many elderly individuals and women attended, seeking specialist medical advice that is typically hard to obtain in remote locations.

A skilled team of senior medical professionals, including a specialist in medicine and a gynecologist, provided comprehensive clinical evaluations throughout the day. They offered general health screenings, monitored vital signs, and focused on geriatric care, along with specialized consultations for women's health and maternal care, all while distributing essential medications for free.

Pankaj Rana, the Marketing Head of City Care Hospital, shared the vision behind this initiative, stating that healthcare access should not be hindered by geographical barriers.

Rana remarked, "Our primary goal is to eliminate the healthcare gap between urban and rural areas by providing high-quality medical services to remote and underserved communities in the Kangra valley."
