He noted that the match was an exciting showcase of cricket. In an interview on the sidelines of WCL Season 3, Gayle remarked on the competitive nature of the match, acknowledging the efforts of both teams. "I wouldn't say we outperformed Bangladesh. They played exceptionally well to score 219 runs, which is impressive. Rony Talukdar and captain Mahmudullah were particularly noteworthy, giving us a bit of a scare. We needed a solid start for our chase, and Lendl and I laid the groundwork, with Walton finishing the innings," Gayle explained. He added, "Overall, it was a fantastic game, and I believe the fans thoroughly enjoyed it. With over 800 runs scored across two matches, it was a remarkable day for cricket."

Gayle also reminisced about West Indies' thrilling victory over India in the second T20I, where they successfully chased a daunting target of 250 runs.

Bowling Challenges and Future Matches

Gayle acknowledged the batting-friendly conditions, which made it challenging for bowlers, and expressed optimism about maintaining their winning streak in the upcoming match against Australia. "It's tough luck for the bowlers, but the pitch was excellent for batting. We were pleased with the cricket displayed yesterday.
