The E-Sports Foundation (EF) has revealed the list of players directly invited to participate in the EA SPORTS FC tournament at the E-Sports Nations Cup (ENC) 2026. Among them, India's Chiranjeet Singh has earned his place through the FC Pro World Rankings.
Chiranjeet Singh's Selection for ENC 2026
At just 23 years old, Chiranjeet Singh, who previously represented India at the Asian Games, will compete in the inaugural global e-sports event taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from November 2 to November 29, 2026. The EA SPORTS FC segment of ENC 2026 is scheduled for November 17 to November 22, featuring a prize pool of $600,000 (approximately ₹5.7 crores).
Tournament Format and Prize Distribution
The competition will include a total of 128 players. The E-Sports Foundation has allocated 64 direct invitations based on the official FC Pro World Rankings, granting one invitation to the highest-ranked eligible player from each country or region. The remaining 56 spots will be filled through regional online qualifiers, set to take place from July 29 to August 9, while the last eight positions will be filled via wildcard invitations.

Recognized as one of South Asia's leading EA SPORTS FC players, Chiranjeet has represented India in various prestigious international tournaments, including the Hangzhou Asian Games, FIFAe Nations Cup, and FC Pro World Championship. He has also secured multiple titles in the domestic circuit, including the eISL Season 3 Championship, establishing himself as one of the most successful EA SPORTS FC players in the country. His consistent performance last season led him to become India's top-ranked player in the FC Pro World Rankings, earning him direct qualification for ENC 2026.

Upon securing his spot in the E-Sports Nations Cup 2026, Chiranjeet expressed, "I have had the opportunity to compete on some incredible platforms over the years, and each tournament has helped me grow as a player. The E-Sports Nations Cup is the next big challenge in that journey, bringing together the best players from around the world on one of e-sports' biggest stages. Regional Qualifiers and India's Participation
The online qualifiers for EA Sports FC will be conducted through the in-game FC Pro Live Events mode and the Battlefy tournament platform. These qualifiers will be divided into two phases and will be open to all eligible players. In the first phase, players will compete in a ladder-based format from July 29 to August 2. The top players will advance to the playoff stage hosted on Battlefy, based on their region.
Qualification Details for ENC 2026
Each country or region can qualify a maximum of two players for ENC 2026, including those who received direct invitations. Chiranjeet has already secured one of India's two available spots, while another Indian player can qualify through the South Asia regional qualifiers, where a total of four players will advance to the main event of ENC 2026.
India's Representation at ENC 2026
With this announcement, India has secured representation in seven titles at ENC 2026: Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), Chess, EA Sports FC, Honor of Kings, Rocket League, Trackmania, and VALORANT. India received a special invitation for BGMI and Honor of Kings. In chess, Grandmaster Nihal Sarin qualified directly through the official ENC rankings, while Mitrabha Guha secured his spot via the regional qualifiers. Additionally, India's Rocket League team, VALORANT team, and Trackmania star Kunal Upreti (Spark) have also qualified through their respective regional qualifiers.
Focus on Remaining Titles
The attention now shifts to the remaining titles. India's MOBA Legends: 5v5! roster, previously revealed as the country's National Team Partner (NTP) by NODWIN Gaming for ENC 2026, is in the running for a direct invitation to the main event. If necessary, the team will compete in the scheduled regional qualifiers from August 15 to 16.
