Chirag Paswan's Potential Role in Bihar Politics Supported by Prashant Kishor

Support for Chirag Paswan's Political Engagement
Prashant Kishor, the founder of the Jan Suraaj Party, expressed on Sunday that Chirag Paswan's involvement in Bihar's Assembly politics would be beneficial. When asked about the likelihood of Paswan running in the upcoming elections, Kishor stated, “Chirag Paswan is part of the NDA, and everyone has the right to contest elections. His active participation would be a positive development for Bihar.”
Arun Bharti, a Member of Parliament from the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), also hinted at the possibility of Union Minister Chirag Paswan entering the race for the Bihar Assembly elections. He mentioned that during a recent meeting, party leaders formally encouraged Paswan to consider a more significant role in the state's political landscape.
“Chirag Paswan has consistently emphasized that Bihar is central to his political ambitions. The people of Bihar hold him in high regard. We have formally proposed that he return to Bihar and contemplate a larger political role. We are currently conducting a survey, and if the results are favorable, I believe Chirag Paswan will seriously consider these options and may run for election,” Bharti remarked. He underscored Paswan's dedication to the state, stating, “He is committed to serving the people of Bihar and aims to realize his vision of 'Bihar First, Bihari First' from the Assembly.”
Despite these discussions, there has been no official announcement regarding Chirag Paswan's candidacy. Previously, he indicated that there is “no vacancy” for the Chief Minister position in Bihar, asserting that the current Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar, will continue to lead a robust NDA government following the elections.
