Chirag Paswan Critiques Rahul Gandhi's Statements

In response to recent comments made by Congress MP Rahul Gandhi regarding the elections, Union Minister Chirag Paswan stated on Sunday that Gandhi has already conceded defeat in the Bihar Assembly elections, which is why he is making such statements. Paswan further remarked that if Rahul Gandhi is looking for flaws in any institution, he should start with his own party, Congress. He emphasized that the issue with Congress and its leaders is that when introspection is needed, they instead seek excuses for their electoral losses. If Gandhi wishes to find faults, it should be within the Congress party rather than constitutional institutions.

Election Commission Allegations Reflect Defeat

Paswan pointed out that accusing the Election Commission, alleging election fixing, and claiming discrepancies in EVMs all indicate that Rahul Gandhi has already accepted defeat in the Bihar Assembly elections. He predicted that after Bihar, Congress would also face losses in states like Assam and Bengal. While addressing a public meeting in Bhojpur, Bihar, Paswan stated that the 'jungle raj' they refer to is not solely the responsibility of the RJD but also of Congress. He noted that it is the current government that awarded the Bharat Ratna to Karpoori Thakur.

Paswan's Commitment to NDA

Chirag Paswan also addressed questions regarding his electoral candidacy, stating that his party, the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), will contest all 243 seats to support NDA candidates and strengthen the NDA alliance. His goal is to ensure the NDA moves towards victory. Meanwhile, Tejashwi Yadav, the leader of the opposition in the Bihar Assembly from the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), strongly supported Rahul Gandhi's allegations against the Election Commission, accusing the BJP of hijacking constitutional institutions under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's rule.
