Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma Unveils Major Development Projects in Ajmer

In a recent event in Ajmer, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma announced a series of major infrastructure projects aimed at enhancing the state's development. With a focus on improving water supply, road networks, and employment opportunities, the government is committed to ensuring comprehensive growth for farmers, laborers, women, and youth. The Chief Minister highlighted significant investments in road construction and water projects, emphasizing the importance of these initiatives for the future of Rajasthan. Significant Infrastructure Developments Announced


In Jaipur, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma emphasized the commitment of Prime Minister Narendra Modi towards realizing a developed India and establishing robust infrastructure for future generations. He stated that the double-engine government is actively working to enhance the lives of citizens through a well-structured roadmap focusing on essential services such as water, electricity, roads, education, health, and employment.


During the inauguration and foundation-laying ceremony held in Kekri, Ajmer, the Chief Minister highlighted that over the past two and a half years, the state has invested more than ₹33,000 crores in developing approximately 49,000 kilometers of roads. Additionally, 18,000 kilometers of new roads have been constructed, along with significant upgrades to over 3,000 kilometers of roads under the Prime Minister's Rural Road Scheme. The development of the rail network and the introduction of new airports are also paving the way for the state's progress.


He pointed out that water is the most critical resource for the state. The government has set ambitious goals to ensure water reaches every individual, focusing on major water projects like the Ram Jalsetu Link Project, the Yamuna Water Agreement, and the Dewas Project.


The Chief Minister also mentioned that under the Prime Minister's leadership, comprehensive development for four key groups—farmers, laborers, women, and youth—is being ensured. The amount for the Kisan Samman Nidhi has been increased from ₹6,000 to ₹9,000, with plans to raise it to ₹12,000 per year in the future. Farmers are also receiving daytime electricity and subsidies on their bills. Through the Rajasthan Cooperative Gopal Credit Card Loan Scheme, livestock owners can access interest-free loans up to ₹1 lakh, and over 22 lakh insurance policies have been issued under the Mukhyamantri Mangla Animal Insurance Scheme.


To empower the youth, the government is providing job opportunities alongside self-employment initiatives. So far, 178,000 positions have been filled, with over 100,000 more in the recruitment process. The private sector has also created jobs for 450,000 young individuals. The dairy sector is providing local employment opportunities for rural youth, and women are being economically empowered through initiatives like the Lakhpati Didi program.


Deputy Chief Minister Daya Kumari remarked that the double-engine government's efforts are rapidly advancing the state's development. She noted that the inauguration of world-class projects like the Rajasthan Refinery is a testament to this positive vision.


Member of Parliament Madan Rathore stated that bringing Yamuna water to Rajasthan is a significant achievement of the Chief Minister, which will benefit the people of Shekhawati. He also highlighted the strengthening of the road network and the state's surplus electricity production as major accomplishments.


The Chief Minister participated in a tree-planting initiative, promoting environmental conservation. Upon his arrival in Kekri, he received a grand welcome, and citizens greeted him at various locations along the route to the program venue.


The Chief Minister laid the foundation for several development projects, including:



  • Four-lane development of Nasirabad-Sarwad-Kekri-Deoli Phase I

  • Strengthening and widening of roads in Singawal, Gopalpura, Bhinay, Tantoti, and Dabrela MDR

  • Road improvements in Kerot, Jaitpura, Chawandia, Padaliya, Nagol, Badla, Raghunathgarh, Ramaliya, Tantoti, Kebania, and Bhatiyani

  • Road construction in Harapura, Kumaria, Hingoniya, Lallai, Bhantolav, Sarwad, Jadaana, Khandra, Santolav, Keriya Khurd, and Nagola

  • Roads in Dhatob, Bhadu Ka Khera, Kuhada, Kanoj, Lasadiya, Eklasinha, and Kekri

  • Roads in Dhunwaliya, Eklasinha, Mevadakalan, Rupnivas, Salari, Taswariya, Molkiya, Kaleda, Farkiya, Bhanrahi, Pranheda, and Sanpala

  • CC roads in various wards of Kekri Municipality

  • Construction of classrooms in different schools in the region


The following projects were inaugurated:



  • Integrated College Building for Ayurveda, Yoga, and Natural Medicine

  • Upgradation of roads in Kekri, Sarwad, Nasirabad, Sawar, and Deoli

  • Construction of bridges and roads in the Kekri area


The event was attended by Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Bhagirath Chaudhary, Water Resources Minister Suresh Singh Rawat, Public Health and Engineering Minister Kanhaiya Lal Chaudhary, Devenarayan Board Chairman Omprakash Bhadhana, and several local representatives and citizens.
