Concerns Over Professional Conduct

During the proceedings, the bench reprimanded the petitioner for aggressively pursuing the senior advocate designation and questioned their conduct, including language allegedly used on Facebook. The bench remarked that while many around the world may be eligible for the title of senior advocate, the petitioner did not meet the criteria. A visibly upset Chief Justice Surya Kant warned that if the Delhi High Court granted the petitioner the senior advocate title, the Supreme Court would likely revoke it based on their professional conduct. He highlighted the presence of existing societal parasites attacking the system and questioned the petitioner's desire to align with them.
