Chhattisgarh's Chief Minister Highlights Budget as Key to State Development

On Tuesday, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai extended his best wishes to the people of Chhattisgarh, describing the 2026-27 budget as a crucial step towards the overall development of the state. He emphasized that this third budget presented in the new assembly building would further strengthen the state's vision for a developed and prosperous Chhattisgarh.

 

According to Chief Minister Sai, this budget will advance the government's commitment to inclusive development, good governance, and public welfare. He expressed confidence that it would play a significant role in bolstering the state's economy and bringing about positive changes in the lives of its citizens. He noted that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, the state government is continuously working towards building a developed Chhattisgarh, keeping in mind the national resolve for a developed India by 2047. Empowering farmers, marginalized groups, youth, women, and tribal communities remains a top priority, with various schemes aimed at reaching the last person in the development process.

 

Chief Minister Sai reiterated his belief that the 2026-27 budget would provide a solid foundation for the state's 'good governance to prosperity' model and accelerate development. He stated that this budget would give new direction to infrastructure development, job creation, agricultural advancement, social security, and human resource development. Emphasizing the government's commitment to building a developed Chhattisgarh, he declared that this budget would serve as a milestone in that journey. He expressed hope that it would lead the state into a new phase of self-reliance, economic progress, and prosperity. Wishing the public well ahead of the budget, he stated that it would lay a strong foundation for Chhattisgarh's bright future.
