Chelsea Handler's Hilarious Roast of Tony Hinchcliffe at Kevin Hart's Event
Handler's Sharp Jokes Target Hinchcliffe
During the Roast of Kevin Hart on Sunday, comedian Chelsea Handler took a jab at fellow comic Tony Hinchcliffe, delivering a series of biting jokes that highlighted his political stance and various public controversies. This live event on Netflix, which celebrated comedian Kevin Hart, also featured notable appearances, including a surprise visit from Tom Brady. Handler specifically targeted Hinchcliffe, who has been linked with supporters of former President Donald Trump. She quipped, "Tony is what happens when women lack safe access to abortion care," and added, "You have the face of a school shooter and the personality of someone who gets shot first." Hinchcliffe could only manage a reluctant smile in response.

Later in her set, Handler continued to poke fun at Hinchcliffe's looks, joking, "You must be using Crest White Supremacist Strips." She also made a cheeky remark about his connection with podcast host Joe Rogan, asking, "Tony, quick question: if you're here tonight, who's keeping Joe Rogan's balls warm in their mouth?" Handler didn't hold back when discussing comedians who participated in the 2025 Riyadh Comedy Festival in Saudi Arabia, an event criticized by human rights groups for the country's poor record on free speech. She remarked, "Now that your favorite leader is making the draft mandatory, I assume that all of you will be signing up to go fight the war in Iran. Or do you tough-talking p---ies only go to the Middle East for comedy festivals?"
Reports indicate that Hinchcliffe turned down a $1 million offer to perform at the event. Later in the show, he retaliated by calling Handler a "cold frigid b---h." Hinchcliffe has faced backlash in recent years for comments made during a Trump rally at Madison Square Garden in 2024, where he referred to Puerto Rico as a "floating island of garbage" and made a sexual slur against Latino immigrants. These remarks drew criticism from both sides of the political aisle, leading Trump to distance himself from Hinchcliffe, claiming he had "no idea" who he was. In a May 2025 interview with Bill Maher, Hinchcliffe expressed that his participation in the rally was aimed at encouraging people to vote for Trump, stating, "When I was going in to do that rally, the goal wasn't just to swing a few thousand votes hopefully; it was also to f---ing have the president go, ‘That was cool. Thanks, man. That's awesome, I liked your set, you got the crowd going.'"
