Legal Action Against Pankaj Parashar

The Gautam Buddh Nagar police have submitted a charge sheet in court on Thursday against the former president of the Noida Media Club, who is accused of extortion. Officials provided this update.


A police spokesperson reported that an individual lodged a complaint at the Phase-3 police station, alleging that Pankaj Parashar threatened to spread false news regarding a case, coercing him to transfer ₹20 lakh into his account.


Following the complaint, authorities registered a case and, after conducting an investigation, filed the charge sheet in court on Thursday. According to police records, Parashar has over a dozen previous cases registered against him and is currently incarcerated.
