Incident at Wedding Ceremony in Nuh District
A wedding celebration in Nuh district, Haryana, turned chaotic when a guest reportedly misbehaved with female dancers during a performance. This incident was confirmed by local police on Tuesday.
The event took place on Monday night in Palla village, featuring performances by various artists, including Salman Ali, a former winner of Indian Idol, who hails from the Mewat region.
According to police reports, a dance program was organized as part of the festivities, showcasing performances by Mewati dancer Asmina and other female artists. The event had received prior approval from the authorities.
During the performance, an individual allegedly misbehaved with the dancers, leading to a confrontation. Police stated that the event organizers intervened and retaliated against the young men with sticks, causing a scene at the venue.
Subsequently, a video of the incident surfaced on social media. Krishna Kumar, a spokesperson for the Nuh police, mentioned that no formal complaint had been filed yet, and the situation, which appeared minor, was resolved by the organizers.
