Chamba Prepares for the Shining Star Awards 3.0 to Celebrate Academic Excellence

DHARAMSHALA: The Shining Star Awards 3.0 had a grand kickoff in Dharamshala on June 2, 2025, and is now set to move to Chamba, a district that celebrated a successful event in 2024. Scheduled for June 8, this year's awards are anticipated to be even more impressive and memorable.
A Successful 2024 Event
Last year's event in Chamba received an enthusiastic response, recognizing numerous outstanding students. The Additional Superintendent of Police attended as the chief guest, accompanied by various dignitaries and community leaders.
Eligibility Criteria for Awards
Cut-off set at 80% for Class 10 and 12
This year's awards in Chamba will honor students who achieved 80% or higher in their Class 10 and Class 12 board exams across all boards and streams. The initiative aims to recognize not only academic excellence but also the determination and commitment of students in a competitive landscape.
Dharamshala Event Sets a High Standard
The inaugural ceremony in Dharamshala attracted over 1,000 attendees, including students, parents, teachers, and dignitaries. Himachal Pradesh's Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri was the chief guest, presenting awards to around 650 students who scored 85% and above in their examinations.
During his address, Agnihotri described the event as a celebration of ambition, discipline, and vision, urging students to strive for their highest aspirations and contribute to the state's development.

Initiated by a leading English digital news platform in Himachal Pradesh, the Shining Star Awards 3.0 is more than just a ceremony; it represents a movement aimed at uplifting and recognizing young achievers.
