Council officials and staff engaged with local residents, encouraging them with the message: “This monsoon, let’s join the ‘Catch the Rain’ campaign and pledge to conserve water… because water is life, and life depends on water.”

The event featured posters highlighting the importance of water conservation, urging community members to implement rainwater harvesting systems in their homes, schools, and public areas. Officials pointed out the urgent need for such measures due to declining groundwater levels and increasing water scarcity.

The Municipal Council called on citizens to appreciate every drop of water and to actively contribute to transforming the 'Catch the Rain' campaign into a widespread movement for sustainable water management.
