Chamba District Schools to Receive Advanced Computer Labs for Enhanced Digital Learning

Introduction to the Initiative

Subhash Mahajan, a prominent figure in Chamba, has announced that 25 government schools in the district will soon be outfitted with cutting-edge smart computer labs. This initiative, proposed by Rajya Sabha MP Harsh Mahajan, aligns with the Modi administration's commitment to enhancing education in aspirational districts. The project, valued at ₹2.50 crore, will be executed in collaboration with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) through a formal agreement.

Mahajan expressed his appreciation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri for their backing of this initiative, describing it as a crucial investment in the future of children in Chamba. He highlighted that the introduction of modern digital resources will help close the educational divide between students in remote mountainous regions and those in urban areas.
