Accompanied by senior officials from various departments, the Deputy Commissioner evaluated the essential services and infrastructure along this sacred path leading to Shri Manimahesh Kailash, one of the five esteemed Kailash peaks in North India.
The purpose of this inspection was to gauge the preparations for the upcoming pilgrimage season and pinpoint areas that require immediate attention. Superintendent of Police Abhishek Yadav and Additional District Magistrate Kulbir Singh Rana were also part of the inspection team, along with officials from key departments.
Facilities Under Review: Roads, Water, Power & Sanitation
During the inspection, DC Repaswal assessed the arrangements for community kitchens (langars), resting spots, drinking water availability, electricity, public sanitation facilities, and the condition of the roads. He instructed the Public Works Department (PWD) to commence road repairs from Hadsar to Dunali immediately, ensuring the route is safer and more accessible for pilgrims.
