The MLA for Bharmour-Pangi, Dr. Janak Raj, has announced that the NH-154A road is now under the direct supervision of the Central Government. He emphasized that previously, travelers faced significant risks on this route, but the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is committed to restoring and securing the road within the next year.

Despite challenging weather conditions and heavy rainfall, NHAI teams are diligently working around the clock to maintain road connectivity in Bharmour and protect the local population.

Recently, an emergency situation underscored the team's commitment when a seven-month-old infant requiring oxygen support was trapped with family members due to road blockages. The NHAI highway patrol team promptly transported the child and family to the hospital using patrol vehicles, showcasing their dedication and compassion.

Footage from the scene reveals the team continuing their restoration efforts amidst active landslides and hazardous rockfalls, while also providing assistance to distressed citizens. This display of service, bravery, and humanity has been recognized as a commendable example of responsibility.

The Bharmaur administration has praised the NHAI team for their outstanding work and steadfast commitment to public service, even in adverse conditions.

Authorities have urged residents to travel only when absolutely necessary during the current weather, adhere to official advisories, and keep a safe distance from areas prone to landslides and swollen rivers. In emergencies, residents are encouraged to contact the administration or relevant departments immediately.

Your alertness is your safety.
