Significant Meeting on Indus Water Treaty

Central Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan held a crucial meeting with farmer organizations regarding the Indus Water Treaty. Following the discussions, Chouhan expressed that recent events have deeply unsettled everyone. Innocent individuals were questioned about their religion and subsequently killed. The entire nation was distressed, and anger filled every heart. We do not provoke anyone, but this is India; if someone provokes us, we do not let it go.

Chouhan further stated that the Prime Minister has granted full authority to the armed forces. The military has decided that this is India, and we will not harm everyone. You may have heard Defence Minister Rajnath Singh say, 'Those who attack me, I will retaliate.' Therefore, terrorist camps were targeted, and all terrorist hideouts were destroyed. We did not directly attack Pakistan; our fight was against terrorism, but Pakistan has not acknowledged this. They believed that India would be intimidated by Turkish and Chinese drones and missiles.

He expressed pride in our armed forces, bowing to their bravery. They shot down their (Pakistan's) drones and missiles as if they were toys. Children in Punjab and other states are playing with the debris. Pakistan surrendered within three days. However, decisive actions were taken. The Prime Minister decided that blood and water cannot flow together. A historic decision was made to suspend the Indus Water Treaty. This is not a trivial matter.
