Celebrating Two Years of Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha at Ayodhya Temple
Significance of the Anniversary
New Delhi, Dec 31: Uttar Pradesh's Deputy Chief Minister, Brajesh Pathak, conveyed his warm wishes to the nation as the second anniversary of Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya was celebrated.
Pathak emphasized the temple's spiritual and cultural importance for devotees throughout India, stating, “As we mark two years since the grand Ram Lalla temple was established, I extend my heartfelt greetings to all citizens. We owe this moment to PM Modi, who has enabled us to witness this celebration of our Sanatan culture. My sincere thanks to him for this.”
The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust held elaborate ceremonies to commemorate this historic event, which took place on Paush Shukla Paksha Dwadashi in 2024, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi leading the celebrations. The Pran Pratishtha signified the consecration of the Ram Lalla idol, fulfilling centuries of devotion and aspirations within the Hindu community.
BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla remarked, “Today marks a significant and sacred day as we celebrate the two-year anniversary of Ram Mandir Prana Pratishtha. This moment reflects the efforts of the Hindu community, which has awaited this for 500 years, culminating in the construction of a magnificent Ram Mandir. Ram Lalla has received his grand temple, and the flag has been hoisted, completing years of penance…”
Rajeev Ranjan Prasad, National Spokesperson for JD(U), added, “India serves as a spiritual guide for the world. Thousands of pilgrims from across the nation gathered in Ayodhya to offer their prayers, filling the town and temple grounds with chants of “Jai Shri Ram” and expressions of devotion. The celebrations, from the temple entrance to the streets of “Ram Nagari,” showcased the collective faith and spiritual enthusiasm of the devotees. This anniversary highlighted the temple's role not just as a place of worship but also as a representation of India’s rich cultural and spiritual legacy, inspiring generations of followers.
