Political Career
Over his extensive 35-year political career, Piyush Goyal has served as a member of the BJP's national executive and held several significant positions, including that of national treasurer. He was first elected to the Rajya Sabha in 2010. When the BJP came to power in 2014 under PM Modi's leadership, Goyal was appointed as a Minister of State with independent charge.
