Celebrating Excellence: 148 Educators to be Honored on Teacher's Day
Honoring Educators for Their Remarkable Contributions
Jaipur. In celebration of Teacher's Day, the 15th edition of the Principals and Teachers Award 2026 will take place, recognizing educators and scholars who have made significant contributions to the field of education. This grand event will be held at the Constitution Club, organized by Thar Sarvodaya Sansthan, Simply Jaipur, and Raghu Sinha Mala Mathur Charity Trust.
Organizer Somendra Harsh stated, “The 15th edition of the Principals and Teachers Award is a vital initiative to honor hard work, dedication, and achievements in education. Teachers are not just providers of knowledge; they are the architects of society's future. They inspire students and foster creative thinking while nurturing their knowledge.”

This year, a total of 141 educators from various categories, including pre-schools, government and private schools, colleges, and universities, will receive the Principals and Teachers Award 2026. Among them, 68 teachers from Jaipur, along with 46 from regions such as Jodhpur, Ajmer, Barmer, Sirohi, Pali, Bhilwara, Byawar, Karauli, Sikar, Kishangarh, Laxmangarh, Hanumangarh, Jaisalmer, and Jalore, will be recognized for their outstanding contributions. Additionally, around 27 educators from Delhi, Lucknow, Vrindavan, Chhattisgarh, and Behror will also be honored, highlighting their dedication, excellence, innovation, and contributions to the holistic development of students.
Trustee Sudhir Mathur of Raghu Sinha Mala Mathur Charity Trust mentioned that seven senior educators who have dedicated their lives to education will receive the special Mala Mathur Memorial “Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence in Education.” This award aims to express gratitude to those teachers who have played a crucial role in shaping the new generation through knowledge and values over the years.
This year, the Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to Prof. B.K. Sharma, Dr. Deepak Saxena, Dr. Rashmi Patni, Dr. Jaishree Bhargav, Mrs. Anuradha Tandon, Dr. Siddharth Mothadia, and Mrs. Lovlina Sogani.
Trustee Anshu Harsh of Thar Sarvodaya Sansthan emphasized that the purpose of the Principals and Teachers Award is to honor those educators who significantly contribute to shaping students' futures through their knowledge, dedication, and continuous efforts. She noted that this year, special recognition is being given to senior teachers who have devoted their lives to education and imparting knowledge to the new generation.
To enhance the ceremony, students will present captivating cultural performances, expressing their gratitude, respect, and affection towards their teachers, while also elevating the event's dignity.
For the past 15 years, the Principals and Teachers Award has served as a significant platform to honor educators and principals excelling in the field of education. Through this 15th edition, the tradition continues, expressing respect and gratitude towards the dedicated individuals in the education sector.
