Celebrating Community Spirit at the Tata Mumbai Marathon's Evening of Gratitude

Following the successful 21st edition, Procam International organized An Evening of Gratitude to honor the individuals, partnerships, and communities that contribute to the Tata Mumbai Marathon. Over the years, this marathon has evolved into a significant public platform, fostering purpose, participation, and a shared commitment among many. The event encapsulated this spirit of unity and recognized the numerous contributors behind the initiative.

Rahul Narvekar, Speaker of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, remarked, "The Tata Mumbai Marathon transcends being merely an event; it celebrates the impactful contributions of individuals and organizations in enhancing lives. Record-Breaking Philanthropy and Impact
United Way Mumbai, the event's philanthropy partner, has led the charitable initiative, linking donors and fundraisers with registered NGOs and establishing the framework that translates athletic efforts into lasting social impact. This year, NGOs, corporates, and fundraisers collectively raised ₹60.68 crore, an increase from ₹53.62 crore last year, bringing the total funds raised since the marathon's inception to over ₹500 crore. This achievement marks a significant milestone for India's largest sporting philanthropy platform.
Fundraising Highlights:

2. 12 cause categories covering all United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
3. 194 Corporates with 275 Corporate teams
4. 1,765 Active individual fundraisers
5. 13,580 runners engaged in fundraising
6. 179 Change Runners raised over ₹2 lakh
7. 19 Young Leaders raised ₹1 lakh
8. 13 individuals, including two young leaders, raised over ₹1 crore in the Change Legend category.
Acknowledging the Pillars of Support
While philanthropy is central, the successful execution of the Tata Mumbai Marathon relies on the support of various stakeholders working behind the scenes. The Mumbai Police ensured a safe and smooth race experience through careful route planning and security measures. Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital provided top-notch medical support for participants. The Adventures Beyond Barriers Foundation focused on inclusivity, making the marathon accessible to all. Media coverage, both traditional and digital, significantly enhanced the event's visibility and engagement.
