A ceremony was held at the Darbar Hall in Chamba to honor approximately 500 outstanding students from various schools in the district who achieved 80% or higher in their Class X and XII board examinations. These students, representing both private and government institutions, were joined by their families and educators.
The awards were presented by the Honorable Speaker of the Himachal Vidhan Sabha, Sh. Kuldeep Singh Pathania.
This initiative, supported by Minerva Study Circle from Ghumarwain and Dharamshala, along with partners NHPC and Digiperform, continues to expand its influence and reach.
Sunny Sharma, Managing Director of Digiperform, emphasized that “Success is no longer confined to traditional routes. The realms of technology, creativity, and digital entrepreneurship are broadening daily.” This perspective underscores that education transcends mere grades; it fosters confidence, adaptability, and the willingness to embrace change.
The Shining Star Awards, conceptualized by a prominent digital news platform in Himachal Pradesh, represent more than just an event; they symbolize a movement aimed at uplifting, recognizing, and empowering young achievers throughout the region.
Sunil Chadha, Executive Editor, remarked: “Our goal is not only to celebrate merit but also to cultivate a future with these talented individuals.” This recognition marks just the beginning for these bright stars.
With Palampur, Chamba, and Dharamshala setting a high standard, the Shining Star Awards will continue their journey across Himachal Pradesh, promoting the mission of recognition and encouragement.
