In a grand ceremony held at Jyoti Palace in Nurpur, approximately 500 outstanding students from various schools were honored for achieving 85% or higher in their Class X and XII board examinations. These students, representing both private and government institutions, attended the event alongside their parents and teachers.
The awards were presented by Honorable MLA of Nurpur, Sh. Ranbir Singh Nikka ji.
This initiative, supported by Minerva Study Circle from Ghumarwain and Dharamshala, along with partner institutions like HIET Group of Institutions, P3Y, Dronacharya, and Digiperform, continues to expand its influence and reach.
During the event, Sh. Ranbir Singh Nikka ji shared his personal journey, stating, 'Standing before you at the Shining Star Awards, I reflect on my own beginnings. I remember having just 100 rupees in my pocket. Through hard work and perseverance, I built my life from those humble origins, transitioning from a businessman to a politician dedicated to serving my community.'
He encouraged the students, saying, 'If I could overcome such challenges, so can you—the shining stars. Your achievements are a testament to your talent, hard work, and determination.'
Nikka emphasized that education transcends mere grades; it is about cultivating confidence, character, and courage. He expressed his belief in the students as the future of Himachal Pradesh, urging them to transform their aspirations into reality.
'Success requires sacrifice, discipline, and perseverance,' he noted, sharing how his struggles fueled his determination. 'Let your challenges empower you.'
As the students received their awards, he reminded them that these accolades symbolize not only their academic success but also their responsibilities to their families, communities, and nation.
The Shining Star Awards 4.0, conceptualized by a leading digital news platform in Himachal Pradesh, is more than just an awards ceremony; it is a movement aimed at recognizing and uplifting young achievers.
Continuing the legacy of previous editions in 2023, 2024, and 2025, this initiative celebrates the hard work and academic excellence of Himachali youth while promoting well-being beyond academics.
Sunil Chadha, Executive Editor, highlighted the broader vision behind the awards: 'We are here not only to celebrate merit but to cultivate a future with these bright minds. These stars represent our strength, and this recognition is merely the beginning.'
With Nurpur, Palampur, Dharamshala, and Chamba setting the standard, the Shining Star Awards 4.0 will soon extend its reach to other districts in Himachal Pradesh, continuing its mission of recognition and encouragement.
