Dharamshala: The Shining Star Awards 2025 took place in Dharamshala, serving as a remarkable celebration of academic achievement, personal growth, and readiness for the future. This event, held in the auditorium adjacent to Degree College, recognized students who achieved over 90% in their Class 10 and 12 examinations, attracting over 1,300 participants, including Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, educational leaders, and the families of the honorees.

One of the prominent speakers at the ceremony was Siddharth Narwani, Assistant Marketing Manager at Graphic Era (Deemed to be University) in Dehradun. His motivational speech struck a chord with both students and their parents.

Narwani urged students to look beyond traditional expectations and to choose career paths that resonate with their passions. He stated, “The most crucial choice at this juncture is to identify your direction and pursue what you love,” sharing experiences from his recent engagements with high school students at educational fairs throughout northern India.

He also highlighted the achievements of Graphic Era University, recognized as one of India’s leading institutions for its academic rigor and innovative approach. The university boasts a NAAC A+ accreditation and consistently ranks among the Top 100 Universities in India according to the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), currently holding the #52 position in both University and Engineering categories, and #59 in Management.

In 2025, Graphic Era achieved a remarkable milestone in placements, with a record highest salary package of INR 61.99 LPA offered by the global software company Atlassian. The university's strong partnerships with industry leaders like IBM and Tata Technologies, combined with extensive placement training, have enabled students to secure positions in top global companies.

Demonstrating its dedication to innovation, Graphic Era has recently been recognized as India’s first GEN-AI campus powered by AWS, incorporating advanced AI and cloud technologies into its educational framework.
