A prestigious award ceremony was held at Bahra University to celebrate the achievements of outstanding students in two significant events conducted in Kinnaur and Shimla, highlighting the academic prowess of Dev Bhoomi Himachal Pradesh.

The Kinnaur event occurred on June 6, 2026, at Hotel Silk Route, Reckong Peo, featuring Shri Amit Kumar Sharma, Deputy Commissioner Kinnaur, as the Chief Guest. The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Director of Education and the Principal of DIET Kinnaur, with over 590 students participating and district toppers being honored for their remarkable accomplishments.

The Shimla event took place at the HPU Auditorium, where Shri Sachin Sharma, ADC Shimla, served as the Chief Guest. The Deputy Director of Prarambhik Shiksha, Shimla, was also present, along with more than 600 students and their parents.

During both ceremonies, Mr. Anurag Avasthi, Director of Students’ Welfare at Bahra University and a well-known motivational speaker, encouraged the young achievers to aim for excellence through dedication, discipline, and a vision for contributing to the nation. He highlighted the significant potential of Himachal’s talented youth to excel on both national and international stages.
