Hamirpur— The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with great zeal at Government Senior Secondary School, Chauri. The festivities commenced with a ceremonial flag hoisting led by the chief guest, Naib Subedar Shri Ashok Kumar.
After the flag was raised, students honored the chief guest with a remarkable march-past. The event featured a lively cultural program that included patriotic songs, dance performances, and poetry recitals, showcasing the students' enthusiasm and deep sense of national pride.
Principal Mrs. Sarita Dubey addressed the audience, highlighting the immense struggles and sacrifices that led to India's independence. She encouraged everyone to remain dedicated to safeguarding the hard-won freedom through ongoing efforts.
In his address, Naib Subedar Shri Ashok Kumar urged students to maintain the nation's unity and integrity.
