Hamirpur— The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with great zeal at Government Senior Secondary School, Chauri. The festivities commenced with a ceremonial flag hoisting led by the chief guest, Naib Subedar Shri Ashok Kumar.


After the flag was raised, students honored the chief guest with a remarkable march-past. The event featured a lively cultural program that included patriotic songs, dance performances, and poetry recitals, showcasing the students' enthusiasm and deep sense of national pride.
