New Delhi, Oct 7: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached a significant milestone, marking 25 years of his leadership journey. Union Ministers have praised his governance style, highlighting his focus on people-oriented policies, effective execution, decisive leadership, transparency, and a results-driven approach, which has redefined the concept of governance.

Modi's political career began on October 7, 2001, when he was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Gujarat, and he has since served three consecutive terms as Prime Minister starting in 2014.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah expressed his congratulations on social media, stating in Hindi, “Heartfelt congratulations to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji on completing 25 years of dedicated service, marked by hard work and a commitment to putting the nation first.”

Shah reflected on Modi's journey, noting that since taking office in Gujarat, he has been synonymous with the welfare of the underprivileged, women's empowerment, youth upliftment, and overall societal prosperity.

He emphasized that Modi's 25 years of service have transformed governance through a focus on the people, effective policy implementation, decisive actions, transparency, and a commitment to performance-oriented politics.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh remarked, “Today signifies 25 years of Prime Minister Modi’s public service. His dedication as Gujarat's Chief Minister for 13 years and as Prime Minister for 12 years showcases his unwavering commitment to the people.”

Singh noted that Modi's leadership has been pivotal in nation-building, good governance, and public welfare, with the guiding principle of 'Nation First, Always First'.

He highlighted the expansion of welfare initiatives under Modi, which have provided millions with access to essential services like housing, clean water, sanitation, LPG connections, and banking facilities.

“With the spirit of 'Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat', we are committed to building a 'Viksit Bharat'. Under Modi's leadership, good governance has been reinforced, and India is progressing towards self-reliance across various sectors,” Singh added.

Singh also pointed out that India has emerged as the world's fourth-largest economy, with development benefits becoming more inclusive, creating more job opportunities for youth, and fostering entrepreneurship and innovation.

He concluded by stating that Modi's 25-year journey is an inspiration, marking a significant milestone rather than an endpoint, and expressed hopes for continued national service under his leadership.

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman praised PM Modi, stating, “Today, we celebrate the remarkable career of PM Narendra Modi.
