This year, the Class 10 exams will be conducted in two phases from February 17 to July 15, 2026, while the Class 12 exams will run from February 17 to April 9. CBSE Exam Schedule Update
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced a rescheduling of the Class 10 and Class 12 examinations originally set for March 3, 2026, due to administrative reasons. According to CBSE, "The exams for Class 10 and Class 12 subjects that were scheduled for March 3, 2026, have been rescheduled for administrative reasons." The new date for the Class 10 exam is now March 11, while the Class 12 exam will take place on April 10.
Revised Exam Dates for Class 10 and 12
As per the updated schedule, the Class 10 exams will include regional and foreign language papers such as Tibetan, Bhoti, Bodo, Tangkhul, Mizo, Kashmiri, German, Japanese, Spanish, and Bahasa Melayu, along with academic electives and Elements of Bookkeeping and Accountancy, all set for March 11. The Class 12 Legal Studies paper is scheduled for April 10.
