CBSE Class 10 Examination Results Announced


In New Delhi, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that over 93% of students successfully passed the Class 10 board examinations, with results released on Tuesday. According to Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj, girls outperformed boys by more than two percentage points.


This year, the overall pass rate stands at 93.66%, a slight increase from the previous year's 93.60%. Notably, 95% of female candidates cleared the exams, while the pass rate for male candidates was recorded at 92.63%. For transgender students, the success rate improved to 95%, up from 91.30% last year.


In total, more than 199,000 students achieved scores exceeding 90%, with 45,516 candidates scoring above 95%. Additionally, over 141,000 students are set to take compartment exams.


A total of 2,371,939 candidates participated in the CBSE Class 10 board examinations.
