CBSE Announces New Dates for Answer Book Verification and Re-evaluation Process

CBSE's Updated Portal Launch for Post-Result Activities

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that the portal for post-result activities, which includes the verification and re-evaluation of answer sheets, will be available starting June 1, 2026.

In a recent update shared on X, the board emphasized that this decision aims to provide a "transparent and seamless process" for students seeking to verify or re-evaluate their answer sheets.

The statement clarified, "To ensure a transparent and glitch-free process for students applying through the Post-Result Activities portal, it has been decided that the designated portal will be operational from June 1, 2026."

This initiative is part of the board's commitment to uphold the "highest standards and protocols of evaluation."

This announcement follows earlier communications indicating that the portal was expected to launch by May 29.

The decision comes in response to concerns raised by students and parents regarding the On-Screen Marking (OSM) system, as the board has faced criticism over technical issues, payment failures, and access problems during the verification and re-evaluation phases.
