Investigation Handed to CBI

The Madhya Pradesh government has transferred the investigation into the death of a woman, allegedly caused by harassment from her in-laws, to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The 30-year-old woman, a resident of Noida, was discovered deceased on May 12 at her in-laws' residence in Bagh Mughalia Extension, Bhopal. Her family has accused her in-laws of murder, citing visible injuries on her body. They claim that she had previously reported instances of domestic violence by her husband.
