Community Efforts Against Substance Abuse


Shri Ganganagar. Under the leadership of District Collector Dr. Amit Yadav and District Superintendent of Police Mr. Harishankar, a campaign aimed at eradicating drug abuse was launched at Mohanpura's Shaheed Harbans Singh Chahal Government Higher Secondary School, featuring a program titled 'Freedom from Addiction'.


During the event, representatives from the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, including Mr. Vikram Jiyani, Lakshya Jiyani, and Sahiram, delivered a powerful message through their engaging performances. They highlighted the grim realities of addiction, the pain it inflicts on families, and its detrimental effects on the future of youth. The program emphasized the importance of awareness, self-confidence, and community support in overcoming addiction and starting anew. The emotional scenes from the play deeply moved the students, parents, and local residents in attendance.
