Unique Incident in Telangana

In India, many individuals prefer traveling by bus due to its affordability and accessibility. Unlike trains, where some passengers manage to travel without a ticket, bus conductors ensure that every passenger pays for their fare. However, have you ever witnessed a bus conductor issuing a ticket for an animal?

Ticket Issued for a Rooster

A peculiar incident occurred in Karimnagar district of Telangana, where a conductor from the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) issued a ticket for a rooster. The conductor charged 30 rupees for the rooster's fare to travel on the bus. This unusual event has gone viral on social media.

On Tuesday, February 8, conductor G. Tirupati made headlines by issuing a ticket for a rooster. The bus was en route from Peddapalli to Karimnagar when he noticed a passenger, Mohammad Ali, attempting to sneak a rooster wrapped in cloth onto the bus.

Conductor's Justification

Conductor G. Tirupati explained that all living beings traveling on RTC buses are subject to a fare. Initially, the passenger protested, but after some discussion, he agreed to pay for the rooster's ticket.

TSRTC Officials React

A fellow passenger recorded the argument between the conductor and the traveler and shared it on social media. Upon seeing the video, TSRTC officials took notice. V. Venkatesham, the manager of the Godavarikhani depot, stated that the conductor should have asked the passenger to disembark with the rooster, as the rules prohibit animals on the bus.

Venkatesham added that the conductor likely did not notice the rooster initially since it was concealed under a cloth. An explanation will be sought from the conductor regarding the oversight and the fare charged for the rooster.
