BSF Takes Action Against Terrorist Threat


New Delhi/Jammu: On Saturday, the Border Security Force (BSF) announced that it has successfully eliminated a terrorist launchpad situated across from Akhnoor in Jammu. This decisive action was taken in retaliation to unprovoked gunfire originating from the Pakistani side of the International Border.


According to a spokesperson from the BSF, the launchpad was located in the Looni area of Sialkot district, Pakistan.


The incident unfolded after Pakistan initiated unprovoked firing at BSF positions in the Jammu sector starting at 9 PM on Friday.


In response, the BSF executed a measured counteraction, inflicting significant damage on the installations and resources of the Pakistan Rangers along the border, as stated by the spokesperson.


The terrorist launchpad in Looni, directly opposite the Akhnoor region, was effectively destroyed by the BSF.


The spokesperson reaffirmed the BSF's unwavering commitment to safeguarding India's sovereignty.
