Murder of History-Sheet Criminal in Mau

On Tuesday evening around 8 PM, a notorious criminal was reportedly beaten to death by assailants in front of the railway station in Mau district, according to police reports.

The victim has been identified as Gulshan Yadav, a 26-year-old resident of Rampur Chakiya in the South Tola police jurisdiction. He was known to have a criminal record and was labeled a 'history-sheeter'.

Police discovered pieces of bricks at the crime scene, suggesting they were used in the murder. Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Mahesh Singh Atri stated that Gulshan was attacked by a group of criminals, one of whom had recently been released from prison.

Initial investigations indicate that the murder was motivated by a longstanding feud. The ASP mentioned that law enforcement is actively searching for the suspects and aims to apprehend them soon.
