A shocking incident has emerged from Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh, where a man allegedly killed his girlfriend after she insisted on marriage. The suspect reportedly slit her throat and abandoned her body, discarding her severed head two kilometers away. This heinous act occurred two days ago, but local authorities managed to apprehend the suspect within 48 hours in Mathura. Following interrogation, he was brought before the court and subsequently remanded to jail.

Details of the Incident

The grim discovery was made in Jagannathpur village, located within the jurisdiction of the Nanpara Kotwali police station. On Friday morning, the headless corpse of a young woman was found along the canal's edge. Upon receiving the report, police arrived at the scene, identified the victim, and sent her remains for an autopsy. Investigations revealed that the deceased was Amina, hailing from Chamar Purva village under the Malhipur police station area. Further inquiries led authorities to her boyfriend, Asif Raza, also known as Faizan Ali.

Arrest of the Suspect

By tracking Asif's whereabouts, police confirmed he was present at the crime scene during the murder. He was located in Mathura, where law enforcement officials arrested him. Initially, Asif attempted to mislead the investigators, but under intense questioning, he confessed to the crime, revealing disturbing details.

Murder Inspired by a Film

Asif disclosed that although he loved Amina, he had no desire to marry her. Facing constant pressure from her regarding marriage, he concocted a plan to kill her. He lured her under the pretense of going to a movie, then took her to a secluded area in the forest on his motorcycle. There, he committed the murder and disposed of her head separately.

Authorities recovered the severed head, along with the suspect's clothing and motorcycle, from his residence. Additional Superintendent of Police, Durga Prasad Tiwari, confirmed that Asif had initially taken Amina to a film before tragically ending her life on their return journey.
