Jaipur, Oct 13: A medical board's post-mortem examination in Jaipur has uncovered over 40 injuries on the body of Atar Singh Bhadana, a former MLA from Bayana, who was brutally attacked in Bharatpur district, Rajasthan.

The examination revealed fractures in both of his hands and his right leg, with a severe head injury identified as the primary cause of death.

New revelations in the murder case of Atar Singh Bhadana indicate the extreme violence he endured prior to his death, as highlighted by the post-mortem findings.

Medical reports confirm that Bhadana suffered more than 40 injuries, including fractures in both hands and his right leg.

A deep head wound was determined to be the fatal injury.

The severity of the injuries points to a violent attack that occurred at a mining site in Bhoda village, under the jurisdiction of the Weir police station in Bharatpur.

Initial theories suggesting a gunshot wound were dismissed by both X-ray results and the post-mortem examination.

Reports indicate that Bhadana was assaulted by a group wielding sticks, clubs, and other weapons.

His family has alleged that the attackers intended to set him and his workers on fire following the assault.

In the aftermath of the incident, the office and living quarters at the mining site were reportedly set ablaze.

The police have filed an FIR against over 94 individuals and are currently investigating the circumstances of the attack.

Authorities are also looking into a long-standing dispute related to land and mining leases as a potential motive for the violence.

In light of the situation, Bhadana's family is calling for a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) inquiry into the matter.

Kamlesh Bhadana, the deceased's wife, has filed an FIR at the Vair police station regarding her husband's murder. The complaint names 30 individuals and implicates 50-60 unidentified persons in assault, stone-pelting, gunfire, and arson.

The complaint alleges that the attack was linked to an ongoing dispute over a mining lease and the operation of a stone crusher unit.

Several individuals are named in the FIR, including Mukesh (son of Hargyan), Rajveer alias Maggu, Jagat, Babu, Banwari, Bhagchand, Vishnu, Hemsingh, Kaushal, Avtar, Shiv Singh, Jitendra, and Sanjay.

The police investigation is still underway, and the allegations against the accused have yet to be substantiated through legal processes.
