Brothers Embark on 200-Kilometer Pilgrimage to Honor Parents

A Remarkable Journey of Devotion

In Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh, two brothers from Chirchita village have undertaken a remarkable 200-kilometer trek from Haridwar, carrying their parents in a traditional Kanwar. This unique display of love and respect for their parents has garnered admiration from onlookers and travelers alike, who have dubbed them 'the Shravana Kumar of Kalyug.'

According to local officials, Sanjeev Kumar and Anil Kumar traveled to Haridwar, where they collected holy water from Har Ki Pauri. They then began their journey back to Baghpat, with their father, Vedram, and mother, Rajendra, seated in the Kanwar. The brothers are taking turns carrying the Kanwar on their shoulders as they cover the extensive distance.

As they walk, fellow pilgrims pause to admire their dedication and service. The brothers expressed, 'We did not seek any special blessings from God. For us, serving our parents is the greatest duty and pilgrimage.' They emphasized that true blessings in life come from honoring and serving one's parents.

Encouraging the youth, they highlighted the importance of respecting and serving parents as essential for personal growth.
