The bride's friends handed the groom ten hundred-rupee notes and asked him to count them. Despite three attempts, he failed each time. When asked about the district's name, he incorrectly answered 'Pandal.' He continued to provide wrong answers to all questions. Upon witnessing this, the bride mustered the courage to refuse the marriage.

Many guests present praised the bride's decision. Subsequently, a guest from the groom's party offered his educated son as a potential match for the bride, to which her family agreed.
