During the festivities, Uday and his entourage were seen drinking heavily and using foul language. Tensions escalated into a brawl between the two families over dancing to the DJ's music, resulting in injuries to Uday's father, Rajkishore, and other relatives. After some commotion, the situation was calmed, and the couple was brought to the stage for the ceremonial exchange of garlands.

However, even on stage, Uday and his guests appeared intoxicated, with a strong smell of alcohol emanating from him.
